Introducing BridgeLink WebAdmin

BridgeLink WebAdmin is our fully featured, browser-based replacement for the legacy Java administrator client, and it ships with BridgeLink 26.6.0. Open a browser, log in, and manage everything. No launcher, no Java, and it is included in our installer.

A replacement, not a companion dashboard

The Java Swing administrator shipped with open source Mirth® Connect in 2006. WebAdmin is a ground-up rewrite, not a wrapper and not a read-only dashboard beside the old client. You get full read and write access to your channels: create them, edit them, deploy them, and manage them entirely from the browser.

What you can do

Build and edit channels. Everything the Java editor did, in the browser.
Inspect every message. Browse the messages flowing through any channel, search and filter to find exactly what you need, and drill into the content of each one.
Write code with assistance. Transformer and filter code gets autocompletion, inline hints, and IntelliSense.

Familiar the moment you log in

WebAdmin was built by people with decades of experience using, teaching, and living inside the Java administrator. If you have spent years in the classic client, it will feel familiar straight away. The channel list is right where you would look for it, and the message browser works the way it should. We did not reinvent the map, we made it easier to read.

Built for the browser

WebAdmin runs in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, on Windows, Mac, and Linux. The dashboard loads in under three seconds, and search and filtering respond in under 500ms. Session management, CSRF protection, XSS prevention, and HTTPS enforcement are built in.

Under the hood it is Next.js, React with shadcn/ui, and Tailwind CSS, rendered client-side. It installs with BridgeLink on your server, communicates through the REST API, and reflects the live state of your instance in real time. There is nothing to install or configure on client machines, and no Java to install, patch, or maintain on a workstation just to reach BridgeLink.

Getting it

WebAdmin is included in the BridgeLink installer. A standalone installer is available separately for existing servers, and requires BridgeLink 26.3 or higher.
