The problem

The integration skills gap is costing health systems.

The integration platformer's role is expanding fast. Most engineers learn open source tools like BridgeLink by trial and error, and that comes at a price.

Slower development velocity

Unstructured, learn-as-you-go adoption stretches project timelines and pushes back go-lives.

Higher project risk

Knowledge gaps turn into vulnerabilities that compromise the integrations clinical care depends on.

Missed capabilities

Teams can't use the advanced platform features they were never shown how to reach.

In healthcare, redundant work is the enemy of efficiency. That's why I'm stoked to have officially wrapped up my certification with BridgeLink from Innovar Healthcare. The scenarios we performed were precise and relevant — exactly what you need when you're moving from theory to real-world deployment.

The approach

Designed for real-world expertise.

This is not a generic webinar or a slideshow. Essentials is built from the ground up to instill practical, high-impact skills.

Hands-on, not slideware

Work directly in BridgeLink through guided exercises. You build channels, you don't watch someone else build them.

Best practices from the source

Learn the proven approaches straight from the team that builds and maintains the platform.

A real-world framework

Leave with a systematic way to architect production integrations, not a grab-bag of disconnected tips.

Peer collaboration

Spend four days alongside other integration professionals and walk out with a wider network.

What's covered

A curriculum built on what you'll actually do.

Every topic is taught hands-on, in the order you'll use it in production.

Platform architecture

Understand BridgeLink's open source building blocks and how they enable enterprise integration patterns.

Interoperability patterns

See how BridgeLink supports modern protocols and messaging standards, including HL7 v2 and FHIR.

Interface lifecycle

Walk through developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring real-world BridgeLink interfaces.

Troubleshooting & optimization

Use BridgeLink's own tools to find bottlenecks and resolve issues before they reach production.

Why health systems send their engineers.

When integration platformers have structured platform expertise, the business impact shows up quickly.

  • Accelerated delivery: teams spend less time fighting tools and more time shipping quality interfaces
  • Reduced risk: engineers learn to spot risk points and build in safeguards proactively
  • Better data integrity: proper implementation keeps clinical data clean and accurate across the continuum of care
  • An interoperability mindset: engineers think in data liquidity, not point-to-point interfaces

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is the BridgeLink Essentials certification?

It's the only instructor-led certification for the platform. Essentials is a live, four-day, hands-on course taught by the core team. Days one through three are intensive training; day four is the certification exam. Pass it and you're BridgeLink Essentials Certified.

How much does it cost?

$2,500 per seat, which covers the four-day course, the hands-on materials, and the certification exam. For invoicing, purchase orders, or group rates, call 866.857.5373 or reach us through our contact page.

What will I learn?

Platform architecture, interoperability patterns including HL7 v2 and FHIR, the full interface lifecycle from development through monitoring, and troubleshooting and optimization, all hands-on, in a live environment.

Who is this program for?

Integration platformers and analysts who run interfaces day to day, developers new to BridgeLink or moving over from open source Mirth® Connect, and teams standardizing on BridgeLink as their integration platform.

Do I need prior BridgeLink or open source Mirth experience?

No. The course starts from the fundamentals and builds up. If you've worked in open source Mirth Connect it'll feel familiar quickly, but newcomers are welcome and will keep up.
